I guess this is one reason why I don't post often. I don't get the logic behind that rule.

its so people cant come in, join, and post up a bunch of offensive and/or disgusting pictures before admin can stop them. its pretty common on most forums. some are 10, 25, or even 200 posts.

Our benevolent moderator has informed me that in the recent past there was an issue with the aforementioned abuse of the system, hence these changes have been made. If you want full membership, just post on threads you're interested in and post a few things on some of the random ones, like Count to 1000 or whatnot, 50 comes a lot more quickly than you'd think, if you simply remain active.

back about the end of summer some religious freak signed on. He got the required 50 posts and proceeded to spread his gospel for a couple of days. No matter your take on the situation it was a sad troll indeed. I guess it happens here.
