How many members of gayspeak look like these 'studs'. Are we dooming ourselves to failure by searching for these unattainable(for the majority) ideals?

I don't know about anyone else, but I start romancing my sidearm (pistol/gun) when I see what guys are into or think of as studs.... I wish we had a 'real man' of the day type thread were we post images of unfit guys who are out of shape, oddly shaped, overweight or too 'sad' to compete with all of this 0% body fat and muscles. Real men, men we are more likely to fall in mad, deep love with.... no guys to bulky with muscle that they will laugh at our pathetic attempt to gain their attentions.

I find the few real images of posters on Gayspeak to be far, far hotter than these 'media-enhanced, society approved' studs to be more studly, more manly (which includes Sylph) than these guys here.

I have long wanted to steal images out of profiles here and post them on this thread to show my ideal stud... Anyone else in the mood for reality? I stop only so I don't embarrass Studs, Tinkles, Meebles and others with my attentions.

Doesn't anyone else weary of the stereotype stud and desire to see real men? Or am I just the only real dude here who wants to see Mr. Tinkers, Meebles, Miles and other real guys?

Am I the only one who is selling self short over these muscled models?

Perhaps we could start one of those eternally popular post a picture of yourself threads? That would fulfill the real guy need while having something that could add to the forums in a fun way. Obviously a non-sexual thread because I really don't want to see people here stroking themselves and stuff because gross.

But maybe it would be something fun to do, and be a way to celebrate the way we look? I think it would be a compromise for the people (Like Bowyn Arrow mostly, but a few others too).

For me this is just an eye candy thread. A man doesn't have to look like that to be charming and real. It's all so in the mind and heart (for me anyway) that I wouldn't feel comfortable going after anything that looked this "perfect" (I use inverted commas as it's all photoshopped anyway).

Ive tried to find "the average joe" online, but I dont find much. I think someone tried to start a "regular guys" thread last summer, but nobody posted anything to it.

I dont "look" for this type, as I know this type is usually only looking for the same type as themselves. Only ONE of my past "romances" (and I use that term loosely) was a super hot bodied, hairy, muscleman. And he was SO fucked up in the head and had more baggage than Grand Central Station!!!!

And, as I have always stated, I usually go for brain power over flexing muscles.

These guys are nice to look AT..........thats all.
