Shadow's Card Game Theory
#11
But then again isn't the person that does choose to play it safe all the time and never take a chance - never set a foot out of line and never rock the apple cart, rather akin to the closeted homosexual who kinda toys with the idea of coming out, but ultimately never does ?

That sounds really harsh and I really really do not mean it to for any and all of you that may be reading this that ARE closeted, but the point I'm making in saying that is that it goes back to my original comment ... YOU have to choose to play the coming out card (unless you're either extremely lucky and everybody knows and makes it really easy for you, or tragically unlucky and that you're outed by somebody and it all goes pear-shaped).

For me, coming out was one of the rare moments in my life certainly where I have really had to have balls of steel, as I really thought it would turn out awfully, and I just had to suck it up and convince myself I was strong enough to roll with the punches if there were any, but wise enough to appreciate that there might not BE any ...

I don't pity people that are closeted - not at all ... that would be condescending of me, but I do strongly empathise with them, which is why I would be really upset if I thought I'd offended anybody by my train of thought on this ... it's really just an idea Confusedmile:.

Exactly what I meant,

I'd rather a game where it was all or nothing, with no possibility of sitting on the fence. Roullette or something. Set the ball moving and you've made your move.

Hee hee.

The drawback with roulette is that, whenever I am in a casino (yes, BOTH times I've been there), and I see it being played ? I don't know why, but I have this MANIC urge to THROW myself onto the table and go "ALL ON BLACK !!!!!".

... so odds are it wouldn't have made quite such a good example had I tried to use it .

Hehehe Lol2.

I use to be pretty good at tarot card reading and there is this one spread I dream of doing but dont have the space right now...

Basically you lay out all the cards into a time frame showing past current and future. Since I havent done the spread I cant really speak about the details of how one uses it but from reading it you wake up and go to your tarot room and see the card for that day and focus on its meaning.

But you can also see the past and future so how you deal with the days card is layed out for you to see.

I hope I can get a cheapo house sometime soon and build a beautiful tarot room.

You're funny....

But that is how comming out is. One big thow of the dice. Like ripping off a band aid. You can do it slow and pianfully or one big yank! Especially since so many things are out of our hands.

I do sympathise babe ... every time I see that man I feel incited to riot, and he has virtually no influence on me here ... unless I say any of those 3,000 buzzwords on the phone that has me carted off by the CIA for "intense questioning" of the 50,000 V variety ...

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

lolz... another forum I go on, there was an epic thread over a member making a non serious but direct threat at the president.... a few members - as a joke - put reports up on the fbi website and they got in contact with the site's admin and wanted all the member's details... so... in short... don't say any buzzwords!!

And yet this IS the nation that purports to enshrine freedom of speech ??

I think we've got it right in the UK - you're more likely to get carted off for questioning if you're NOT throwing rotten vegetables at politicians ... Confusedmile:.

*sigh*
