Game: Priorities

Here is a possible scenario:
You are at home and simultaneously

1) The phone rings
2) Your baby is crying
3) Someones rings your front door bell
4) You have clothes drying outside at the garden and suddenly starts raining
5) You forgot the water running in the kitchen and make a mess

Which of these five requires your immediate attention and in what order?

1) Water running in kitchen
2) Baby
3) Guest at door
4) Phone
5) Clothers

It only takes two seconds to shut of the water in the kitchen, so I would do that first. Then attend to the baby immediately afterward. Then I would go to the door, tell the person to wait two minutes, then answer the phone. The clothes can get wet, they can be washed again, or dried inside later.

For me I'd have to say :-

1) Front Door - let them in (at speed) and tell them to make themselves comfortable whilst you attend to the;
2) Baby crying - make sure he's ok and/or carry him to the;
3) Kitchen taps, which need to be turned off before;
4) Answering the phone and asking whether the can call back later 'coz all HELL has broken loose; and
5) Ignoring the washing until it's stopped raining.

Yup ... I think that's the way I'd do it ... mile:.

This would be assuming that I'd be looking after a baby in the first place! lol

Turn off taps as its very quick to do and saves any more mess being made
Grab the brat and try to stop it from whinging.
Answer the door, if it's someone you know, chances are they'll take baby and make cooey noises at it to shut it up, if its anyone else selling stuff... they'll get the message and clear off quick smart.
The phone can wait... if its still ringing then nows the time to answer it... if its stopped ringing then they'll either leave a message or call later if it was important.
And the clothes can stay out in the rain... they were wet anyway!

I couldn't wait any longer... so I found it out... I won't give it away tho!

I chose to answer the phone, tell them to wait, got to the baby, answer the door, then take the clothes in, and turn the taps off....

So here is the answer, every one of these 5 things you placed in order represents:

Phone= Work
Baby = Family
Doorbell = Friends
Drying Clothes = Money
Water running = Sex

The way some of you said will run to turn of the taps really quick made smile... this was the answer most people give first though.
