Teehee, I know, local variants of everything are always a nightmare.

But, at least here the word has a more standard meaning: Usually someone who's underage or teenager or even just someone who's younger than you by at least a few years.

It can also be used with a slightly dismissive meaning when you refer to a youngster who's being annoying or missbehaving or is plain immature.

You can also use it to refer to an adult who's acting like a child, immature.

More often than not, in Chile you use it to refer to any son of a gun who's younger than you. Depending on the tone and expression it can be used to refer to someone who's annoying you.

In other places like México, the term is outright derogatory.

Hence why I sometimes cannot for the life of me express things Across Standard and my Native English. There literally are just some words that...aren't even words at all; but are just... there lol.

But I understand now! I'm working on my acquisition of Spanish lingual nuances and correcting my damn horrible grammar xD

I wish I really went to school for this shit sometimes, but oh well Shakin

I know pendejo to mean more of like a 'Moron' or 'nuisance', which is what I thought you were intending to say but in a mean way lol.

You know I'm always just one...or two hits from the mark! Pengy

That is probably the dominant case in the Caribbean sphere, like in México. But hell, in Perú is means someone who's a smart trickster and in Argentina it can also refer to pubes. Seriously.

"Pendejo is a single pubic hair (Argentina/Urugay). In Mexico´s slang it is used as an insult like idiot or fool, but in Peru´s slang it used to describe a smart guy with few or no scruples."

Looking at the various definitions they give in that website, it seems most people in the Anglosphere will take on the Mexican slang meaning of the word, which is more or less like it says there.
