Straw Man Alert!!!!
I have to back up a moment here...the intellectual thumbing their noses at the "common man"...and branding the Liberal as the intellectual who also lacks morals...hates the constitution...hates America...(blah blah blah)....they are well known KARL ROVE right wing talking points.
Talking points are specifically designed to exploit the fears and insecurities of the constituents they are targeting. If you don't like being exploited...own your own sh*t. It works...really.
In my opinion to debate this point about the intellectuals versus the "farmers" is to validate Karl Roves talking points. It is a straw man argument. Getting people to vote against their best interests is certainly an intelligent plan...period.
