How to get off hot pepper juice from hand
#1
Does anyone know a good way to get the pepper juice off from your hand? Pepper juice as in when you cut hot peppers like habanero or jalapino. My hands are getting pretty stingy for a day or two. HOw do these things stay soo long?????

I'd say try a fingernail brush but it sounds like your entire hand has a problem. Try using gloves next time. Confusedmile:

Ouch you must not have used gloves. Hmm dairy products perhaps? They are good when your mouth is burning from eating them, maybe they'll help your hand as well?

The best way besides wearing a glove is with a lemon.
Cut a lemon in half and rub all over your hands the natural citrus acid will take care of it.

I LOVE hot peppers, that being said after I have worked with them I use dish soap on my hands it seems to work. I've also had the bad experience of not washing the capsaicin from my hands and then using the bathroom or masturbating. NOT FUN. If you are seriously concerned use gloves, otherwise just wash thouroughly.
