Not sure if the American and English are the same, but I'm guessing they are. There are several differences between the German and American though. The z and y for starters..the rest has more to do with punctuation and other symbols ...which can be confusing but I'm getting there.

Add that with a new operating system (Mac) and my typing and spelling are worse than normal. yaaaaargh

Even the US and UK keyboards have slight variations... which is annoying at times when you forget to tell programs you're working with a UK keyboard! e.g @ and " are swapped around.

OH IVE HAD THAT ALOT. And then other things start to move and im like I DID NOT PRESS THAT :mad: Tbh I thought the keyboard would be the same whereever, but then like my laptop keyboard is completely different to others.. :eek:

This talk about different keyboards for different languages makes me wonder what a Chinese keyboard looks like.....

Macs are also like that.

Ich hab Deutsch als Hauptfach an der Uni ausgewählt! Xyxwave

Ist ja doch schön, dass es zu sehen sind, Leute hier, die Deutsch sprechen wollen :-D Wunderbar! Ich muss in sechs Monaten ein Jahr in Deutschland als Lehrer in einer Schule verbringen! Ich freu mich drauf und hab gleichzeitig viel Angst davor!!
