His beliefs are cultist, or at least right-wing facsists. Very little of what these people have to say have anything to do with religion. They have their vomit and they justify by mis-quoting the bible and things like that.
Never be (almost) ashamed of who you are or what you believe in, and never even remotely entertain the idea that these fuck-knuckles represent anything other than bigotry.
Bottom line, don't let them bother you, don't give them the time of your day, this is what they want and your anger is what they thrive on, take the anger and attention away from them and these scum will disappear.
