I made a Dexter outfit the other year. Got a shirt similar to one he often wears, smeared some fake blood on it, made an "ID" card like he'd wear around his neck for his job, styled my hair like his, and had a fake knife with me. It wasn't horribly obvious to most but those that got it loved it.
