only 3 years difference but the 16 year old has a huge difference in life style. he has parents and is a dependant. good luck with the rents
verify the legal age thing, yes it's important.

Well, three years of age gap is not big at all but in the case of 16-19 to me it's big. I'm 20 as you see and I can not imagine me dating 17-year-old guy.
Nevertheless it's really up to how mature your friend is. Some people are more mature in the age of 16 than others in their 20s.
and still I wouldn't wish to be in a relationship with bi guy.
So if you want something serious think about it again, if you want to have a nice time go for it.
Good luck in any case.

I can't see the problem unless his parents have a problem with him having a relationship at sixteen??? Good luck to you.
•
I would say that as long as your both happy respectful and law abiding in anything that happens i cannot see it being a problem... Age is only a number there is eight years between me and my ex boyfriend
•
It should be fine, as long as you won't get into trouble with your parents or his parents....Though, I guess, you're 19, so who cares what your parents say. XD
•
Just feckin' go for it!!!! Or so I'd say... or rather I did I suppose.
•
but what should say a 20 year old get in jail for dating a 15 or 16 or 17 year old in California? no time?a lot of Americans are like saying hang them high
i guess id believe in the dutch or french laws and be fairly lenient
if the young one is threatening suicide or retreated to a bad mental state the American right wing or left even, doesn't care?

I think that if you both like each other you schould date him.
