And the loony toon Michelle Bachmann has officially suspended her campaign, effectively dropping out of the race. That's one less militantly anti-gay candidate. There's a difference between fully supporting lgbt rights, playing both sides, and opposing marriage equality, etc. But Bachmann and her husband were downright hateful. Hopefully her loss will disillusion the Tea Party, and they'll drop off the radar quietly and without making a fuss.
