Do you believe in God?
#61
I dont believe in god. the whole thing sounds magical and i dont believe in magic. there are alot of flaws in religion, no proof and hypocracy. i believe in science and what can be proven. god goes against science. science can be proven and religion cannot. they put all their trust in a book thats been changed and written by man.

I was forced into religion by my grandpa. We would go to church every Saturday and attend bible classes along with those summer classes. I hated going most of the time and got scared when I knew I was gay. My grandpa died in 2005 so he won't ever know I am gay which is a good thing because knowing him, he would beat the crap out of me. Anyways I do believe in a god and science, a mixture of both.

I don't believe in A God, as presented by the Christian or any other monotheist religion. I believe in unity, the presence of the divine in all of us, children of Mother Earth and Father Sky. I believe in the Universe as a whole and connections between all the elements it contains.

Me, and my mother are both Agnostic . She's leaning more on the faith side, but I'm pretty much in the middle(wikipedia will explain what i'm talking about :3).

I believe in nature and would rather my soul/essence or w/e to live on in the earth and provide the earth with happiness. I want all that I am to go into the planet and hopefully make it better, not for just the people, but the animals as well. I don't want to be happy forever, unless I know others(both animals and humans) are happy and loved and will continue to be happy and love one another. I'd like to become one of those "mystical" spirits that tend to nature and keep order and balance in the world.

Sounds funny to some, but it's how I feel, whether it'll happen or not.

It would seem you are describing "panentheism." Confusedmile:

I like to think of myself as an agnostic but if there is a god he/she/it obviously has a wicked sense of humour.

i believe in both in both science and religion, sorta like religion being a giant puzzle and science being the individual pieces. That and the modo i live by "love god, hate the church"

Atheist. I can't wrap my head around this magical sky daddy. Who seems like a prick by the way. It's tough my whole family is religious. Let me tell you a funny/creepy story. When I was 11 I was at my local Mall. This old man comes up to me and says, "I see your in a wheelchair....do you mind if I pray for you?" I let him. He got out ointment......makes the sign of the cross, Puts his hand over my face.....his hand was shaking by the way...and says his prayer. Not to be an asshole but, Didn't work. That one incident has stuck with me. Ah.....I don't know. comes across as primitive shit. Which it is.

I'm going to stop now cause i can go on and on.
