I know what you mean!!!!! In my High School I was the only gay kid for the longest time and it was extremely lonely. Anyway this new gay kid who is a new freshman, I just can't stand him. He's so flamboyant and like the exact stereotype of a homosexual in every where and I can't relate or even talk to him. >.>

I think normal gay guys are harder to find because they are normal. I hope that makes sense Big Grin

Like, even if you are straight and dating online, you'd complain "every one here is a loser" but that's because in general, really hot people don't have to go online to get a date...
(I am not saying that your school LGBT center is a breeding ground for losers. Just trying to point out that certain places attract certain people...)

Hello Holland,
I do feel that through the help of technology society and corporations are able to impact our lives to sell their product being the site to you and if you have a look at the site they have achieved it... A bit like gayspeak we know we all wanted a forum and gayspeak is the one we chose. Those like me who have remained here for a while it is having a impact.... People on the web or tv also have the same thing whereby they impact your life by taking up some of your time with general crap so yes i agree holland people have gone crazy

kindest regards

Normal........ what is that I am a gay man who does not drink beer or booze I do not do drugs not even pot (anymore lol) I do not do the clubs as I do not think making music LOUDER makes it better.
I do not like the chicky people who hang out at clubs who think they are better than everyone else.
If you want to have a cup of tea or coffee and have a conversation that is good.
As to having ANYTHING to do with the Republican party NOT IF I WAS TIED TO A POLE AND BEATEN
but of course the Democrats are not much better

Good luck

His name is Karel and he on on KGO...

Maybe you can find the transcript of one of the shows on the topic...I remember the one I tuned in to the whole hour was pretty interesting. I am neutral on the topic myself...having heard both sides of the issue I can see both points of view.

Here is a link in case you are interested..

i vote and have no criminal history

yet im gay, schizo affective i guess , and lean republican at times, part native American

possibly im not "normal" and one of the most discriminated against in USA

i live in constant fear of landlords and stuff shafting me and refusing me

but i do drive legally still

so if you want "normal" dont ask me

the gay democrats see me as nothing

the republicans see me as too weird

i dont think i set myself up for all this really

i hate santorum

I feel the exact same way. I try to be as open minded as possible, but if I'm being 100% honest sometimes it makes me a bit upset that a lot of gay people are so "out there". The kinds of gay people you see on Bravo shows, where they have gallons of makeup on and the annoying falsetto. I realize this is very judgmental, but I just see that and I know that this is how the public is getting their image of homosexuality. I wish it was more along the lines of characters like Dave from Glee; just a normal person...or maybe "typical" is a better word.

Again, I realize this is judgmental, but this is the confession room. I'm just confessing.

I can understand what people in here feel. I myself get very fed up with the "Queer Eye" types at times for how much of a cookie-cutter stereotype they act.

I feel its like the gay version of the old minstrel shows they used to do to mock blacks at times.

Then again, I'll feel bad for thinking this way, and wonder to myself if I'm experiencing a little repressed homophobia myself. So distressing.
