Iconic gay movies

I found Better than Chocolate fun (especially as the clueless mother finds out her daughter's a lesbian) but some don't like the don't-bet-on-it and ridiculous happy ending (I did, but if you can't stand the standard formula of many romance novels then it will probably bug the hell out of you). It's Canadian comedy, if that helps.

For a much more tragic tale of lesbian love there's Lost and Delirious. Excellent movie, IMO, but it hurt so much (and the warm fuzzies I got in the first half only made it hurt that much more) that I've never been able to watch it again.
