My lovely turtle <3

Although moose wouldn't be my first choice of animals, I'd still have one in my Zoo I'd love to have a camel. Becuase you see people trotting around on horses and zooming around in cars. So I'd be all like, Oh hai guys! as I gallop past them on my Camel. He could also spit at my enemies. It's a win win.

I could have a cow and a pig and an octopus bunny thing...(it's legs look like tentacles) and a pokemon which name I forget as it's not in the first gen. Shuckle!!! thats it's name :3

I like Camels too. But aren't you only able to ride the one with 2 humps? Isn't called something else? I can't remember...

But I'd have, obviously; Turtles, Tortoises, Frogs, Land & Aquatic Snails, and basically any animal I have any knowledge about, which is pretty much reptiles & amphibians, although I know abit about birds and insects.

Would also like an Octopus :biggrin: , we can get one together, but the kind I want only lives in tropical waters :confused: .

It's the opposite, Odi. As far as I know you can ride just the one with only one hump. Which is called probably a dromedary or an Arabian camel. And it's not a pleasant ride LOL

I've done this with Dolphins

At the last house that I lived we had a canal as part of our backyard which was only 500m from the ocean, so we had a plethora of sea animals in our backyard. It wouldn't be unusual to stand knee deep in the water and have a ray swim over your feet, or a dolphin to swim up with a friendly greeting...and then there were the sharks, but not too many sharks to be found when there were dolphins around.

Nick is right, it's the one humped camel that you ride, my father rode them when he used to work in the Persian Gulf, from what he said, they spit on you (and he made sure I know that he spit back)

I've swam with Dolphins because my BF really wanted to, I was a little anxious at first, but it turned out to be really cool.
For some reason I was more at ease when I swam in a shark tank.

Aw, Wilma is such a cute name. Well, they say it depends on the turtle and it's size, but usually a female turtle will start to lay eggs on her own around 3-5 years old, provided she's the right size. If you have a male, she could start laying eggs the moment she's big enough, as he won't let her rest until he get's some...

But yeah, she could just be a late bloomer :biggrin: , though I've never heard of 20years and no eggs, but it can vary depending on the turtle. Sora hasn't layed eggs and she's about 4years old herself. [By the way, These turtles live up to about 50-60 years, so...]

...He's my sugar daddy j/k! I make nicknames for people based on their name or whatever and because Rainbowmum is a Mum and is Australian and Dfiant is Australian, I call Rainbowmum, Mum and Dfiant, Dad :biggrin: .

I call Nick- Nicky and Zet-Zetty and other people silly little variations of their names/screen names.

It's something that actually alot of people here do, as it's a sign of friendliness and affection. Odi is actually the nickname version of my real name :biggrin: .

~Big Update: Pic heavy~

So Sora has been suffering from Algae/Bacteria again...

I think it's because of where she is, in the house. It's quite warm and humid, so I guess that promotes the growth. I've been meaning to move her into my bedroom, but I'll have to move my Tv...

Anyway! I've been keeping her outside allllll day, and bring her in at night. This is to help her to "shed" her old scutes[shell plates], so that I can get rid of the old sick ones. Sunlight helps to do this the best, lamps are good substitutes, but I prefer the good ol' sun.

So I leave a tub of water out there for her to cool off it when it gets to be too much[I'm usually home by that time, but my mom also helps out. I need a lower tub she can crawl in and out of though ...], also so she can have a small lunch, as they can only eat in water, as well as to poo[which can also only be done in water].

The whole backyard is her oyster :biggrin: .

And for those of you who believe dogs are the only animal capable of love... THINK AGAIN!!! mile:

I love my baby so much!!! . It's been almost 3 years since we got together! Without her, I don't know what I would've done throughout my last 2 years of highschool. She was/is the most constant and consistant "person" in my life, aside from my mother & grandmother.

Any boyfriend of mine, who doesn't like turtles, will be sleeping on the couch and Sora will sleep with me in his place. mile: .

Animals in general for that matter.
