No I'm still in my home country. I was on the process of getting my visa when it got really really ugly in Italy and Spain. I am in touch with Jay, not a big name on the forum but still exchange a few emails from time to time. I emailed him yesterday. Hopefully he will come back more.

Hey @"Pix" it's good to hear from you. Sorry to hear of all the bereavements you've experienced, and the ups and down between.
I remember chatting to you about your writing, and i'm glad you've kept it up. No harm in breaking the character rules, whatever works for you. Many writers throw conventional writing rules out the window anyway! Keep at it. I hope you keep looking in on the forum. It's always good to see/read you
