Leave him inside the hell he may have put himself in. You don't know what can hurt you behind his apartment's door. Obviously you are very sensitive. Sometimes you must learn to close your heart and let it take a break.

Thank you, everyone. I guess what bothers me the most is that I gave him a chance to tell me he was not longer interested, but he didn't answer that either.
I will seriously consider not going, but it does hurt not to have an answer.

I finally got an answer from him. His reason for breaking up/ignoring me is understandable.
