Well I checked on my insurance claim and looked over the documents and photos...not $3,500 in damage it is just over $10,000 in damage. I am going to call the body shop tomorrow and just make sure that it's not going to get totaled out because remember I did bankruptcy earlier this year and I really don't want to have to buy a car with a 18% interest rate...or drive a Yugo...you get the idea.

Yeah I'm finding that most people are terrible. I don't know if it is just this region or what or I'm just drawn to a certain type of guy that does this shit?

If it makes you feel any better, I haven't had much luck dating the past couple of years either. My last ex really put me in a "been there, done that" attitude. I tried giving up online dating and started going to gay bars and clubs - and then the pandemic happened. I really think there's just something fundamentally wrong with online dating, and I'm not just talking about hookup apps like grindr, I mean the so-called serious ones like Match and OkCupid as well. People treat looking for partners like candy shopping, not putting much thought into you because they see an ocean of pictures to chose from, but then nobody gets anybody because everyone else is thinking they can have a whole sea of possible matches, when in reality, only a small fraction will be compatible with them in return.

At any rate, I think there's nothing we can do but wait out this storm. 2019 was still a crappy time for gay dating, so 2020 dating is all that crappiness multiplied by a million.

@Chase Yeah it does seem like all the dating apps focus on only the visual and texting back and forth isn't the same as meeting someone in person. Too much emphasis on all the wrong things. Unfortunately there aren't any gay clubs or bars and I honestly wouldn't know what to do with myself...I'm way too much of an introvert...social anxiety just wouldn't be used to all that. I'd be way too nervous.

It always just cracks me up, they always leave you on their friends list but won't respond to messages...

Got told today there would be redundancies at store level. 50% of the staff in the practice are being layed off. I find out if I am one of them in the next few weeks. Fuck covid.
