ceez Wrote:why do I always find a new breed/species/whatever they are, of insects when I mow the lawn. and they're not small insects or have slight differences its always some freakishly huge thing like I saw something that looked like a butterfly mated with a wasp:eek: or this miniature hummingbird-bee thing. I could open an insect zoo in my backyard.
Omgosh please do. You'll find a Bermudian outside your house doing a crazy dance lol.
It sounds like nothing I've ever seen, so I can't even help... Although, I would just say, if you can, just bottle them up and release them some place else, rather than squishing them .
Maybe even take some secret pictures for me?
I'm not an entemologist, but I find all creatures so fascinating... I just love them lol.

I am pretty happy.
I'm going to enter Sora[my Diva turtle] in our local Pet Pix contest again this year, and hopefully she'll win this time, cause they added new categories .
Sora's primping herself in anticipation.
I also made a new friend in one of the Giant Galapagos Tortoises at the Zoo, Crooks, who unfortunately has a facial deformity, but is every bit the Tortoise as any other. He even bumped me for food!! lol.
I rubbed his neck and he stuck it out for me. He weighs around 450lbs! :0 .
We're getting a pool for the backyard, so we can relax in it, cause the heat is reaching it's peak and we all want to take a soak. Although, Cup Match, which is a Cricket Match between the two teams of the island[for about 3 days]; Somerset and St.Georges - ST.GEORGES!!! Woot - is coming up and we usually go camping on the beach, so it makes no sense really . Everyone Barbeques and plays in the ocean.
This is my 19th year of Camping on Cup Match . And as you can probably tell, I'm for St.Georges!! All De Way!!! lol .
