Best news ever. Early this morning the plumber came and knocked out a hole in my kitchen ceiling.
See, I have a huge leak in my bathroom and it is coming down thru the kitchen ceiling = NO upstairs bathroom... only a freezing basement bathroom :eek: For a month I have been using that and it is horrible.
The pipe had a HUGE crack in it & about 3 feet had to be removed. He had to saw then smash the cracked, rusted 50 year old pipe. Replaced with new plastic pipe but left holes thruout the ceiling. Gotta keep the holes there for a week or two to make sure nothing else is leaking. But
I have a bathroom with a working sink, toilet and a wonderful tub. Cant wait to take my first HOT bath tonite.
