How are you today?

I'm up early, ready for a 4 hour drive for my first date since forever it seems. Picking up a friend and dropping her off to visit her daughter who is going to Berkeley. Going to meet my friend at a park and walk my dog, go to lunch, just spend the day together. We've talked on the phone close to 20 hours in the last couple weeks so it'd already like we are old friends. Anyway, I am a little nervous but a lot excited.
