TURKEY DAY
[COLOR="purple"]Hope all my American mates had a great one.
I love the challenge of cooking a huge bird and getting it perfect... thing is I am so good at that now I can do it with my eyes closed. My 15 pounder couldnt have looked or tasted more delicious.
The dinner was a bit of a rush job as my sis has gone psychotic. She is holding my parents prisoner and is trying to kill them (UGH - no joke).
I couldnt do a stuffing but fudged a gravy.
A small toast/lamb/garlic appetizers was a smash. I dont know what it is about lamb... so many HATE lamb but then when they try it without knowing what it is THEY LOVE IT???
Garlic is also misunderstood. One guest said he hated garlic but had three servings of my garlic mash potatoes. I didnt tell him it was loaded with garlic.
Leftovers anyone? I have about 11 pounds of turkey
