Panic attacks suck.... My first experience with one ended up with me in an ambulance lol... Although I laugh now (cost me about $3,000 to find out I wasn't dying lol).
First I just got dizzy, heart pounding, mind you I'm driving over the mountain between a town called Franklin and the town I live in, lots of windy curves and so on and no cell phone coverage. So I'm starting to feel faint when I start getting closer to the house, well I got home sat down and it just kept cranking up... I started getting chest pains and started getting tingly in my arms and feet which spread up to my waist.... I looked pale... I was convinced there was something terribly wrong... of course my parents not knowing what was going on either fed me nitro and bp medications (which they shouldn't have done) and I finally convinced them to call the ambulance, and when I got there, did a bunch of tests, EKG, X-ray, nothing wrong. Only thing that was off was my potassium, which could have been what triggered it... Had another the next day too... I think it took about a month to finally get rid of them, going back and forth with the doctor's office, they tried this medication, that medication.... ended up saying screw the medications and just went with a therapist which was the right choice. So now, I'm not taking any medications, I don't have panic attacks (knock on wood), I quit smoking as a result of having my panic attacks and I feel better and able to cope with anxiety...though not perfect but better.
