My mom just told me to rub lemons everywhere for the same reason.
I guess between ants, cockroaches, and rats, I'd rather have the ants. But for a neat freak like me, who does not leave out food or dirty dishes, I dont understand why they are coming for me and that little black river i noticed in my kitchen is like a nightmare.

It's one of those things I guess, I've had the same problem before too, oddly enough around this time of year too. Eventually they just stopped appearing all together. But yeah they are horrible to have around, they make everything in the kitchen seem unclean lol.
