Sorry to hear that . I do understand they are like family to some.

It's hard to explain. Recently, I was thinking about how I'd react when she dies and I thought I probably wouldn't be that bothered but, now that it's happening, I feel really sad and the future seems a lot more grey. Part of it is the fact that she's suffering and no one can do anything. I keep wondering if she's wondering why nobody's making her better. She's 10 years old and she's been getting grey and slow, for a while. She stopped eating, last week. She has been barking at cars, at times, over the past week but, in general, she's becoming unresponsive to everything. She's not going to the toilet, either.
