I forgot.
Today, my colleagues and I shared cost to buy a bouquet of red roses for our boss. It was a surprise birthday gift for her. She celebrated her birthday on last 18th Sept.
My colleagues and I celebrate each other's birthday in the office annually. My colleagues and I very close to each other. We are like a little family.
We actually have celebrated our boss' birthday earlier. Last week, to be exact. She requested to celebrate her birthday earlier because she will be off from work for a week. We served her a birthday cake and then she spent us dinner at a Chinese restaurant. It was a small Chinese restaurant. We went there because the chef has won so many cooking awards.

Celebrating our boss' birthday in a Chinese restaurant. I wore my workout clothes because I planned to go to gym after dinner. Wasn't able to though as we finished our dinner quite late.

My colleagues know that I don't eat fried stuff so they served me mostly veggies, steamed and boiled food. But I didn't want to be a party pooper so I ate a bit of fried prawns etc. that my boss placed on my plate.
So back to today's bouquet of red roses - My boss was in her room when my colleagues and I were busy whispering to each other thinking of a plan on how to march into her room.
My colleagues asked me to be the man of honor by holding the bouquet of flowers. One of my colleagues then played a birthday song via his Iphone. He then slipped the Iphone into my sweater that I was wearing. "A walking birthday jukebox" He said.
We then slowly marched into her room. Surprise!
