Ethanol is toxic enough for you to not worry about trivial things like antibody production because entire cells are dying.

What I said is that it is counterproductive to the end, but make no mistake: Bacteria are dying by the thousand upon contact with it.
Ahh...So based on the tissue type..
Example the epidermis Vs the
esophagus .. this is the reason a home remedy like salt water is recommended for the throat Vs an antiseptic / anti biotic for the skin...
On the other hand salt water can help a mild epidermis abrasion but an ethanol based mouthwash will not rid the oesophagus of a serious infection. ..
