Today was interesting to say the least. I tried playing my new Sterling today that I traded my used OLP in on, and did my last bass cover with yesterday, but found that the treble boost pot on the two band EQ was going out which surprised me sense it was a new bass. I took it back to the music store today, and luckily Zach was there. He's a cool guy, and I usually like talking to him when he's around. The guitar tech checked it out, and seen the treble boost pot was bad. Zach showed me a couple of replacement basses sense they didn't have anymore Sterling Ray5's in the store without ordering one, including a nice Ibanez SR305ERBM which was considerably more. I chose to order a new Sterling sense I couldn't swing paying the extra for the Ibanez currently, but that's when something interesting happened. Zach looked at me when we were back at the counter, and said "If I could do something about the price difference of the Ibanez would you like it?". I was surprised again, but said that I would totally like it. lol So thanks to Zach I traded the Sterling which was under $200 with the trade of my OLP for a new $400 Ibanez for only $51 extra, and left happy with a bass the same day. Still trying to figure out the power tap switch though. lol Zach's a great guy, and today was interesting, but tiring. lol
