I took acne tablets when I was younger but they didn't do me any good. Although the doctor also gave me this stuff called Actinac. This was in 2008. It has since been discontinued for some reason (I looked this up and there are no reasons officially given - people are just saying that it mustn't have been profitable). I can't remember if it worked but it was this powder stuff that you had to mix with this liquid stuff and apply it to the affected areas (in my case, my face). When you put it on, it made blood rush to the area of application, which was nice because it was late autumn when I was using this stuff and it made the cold mornings a bit more bearable.
Been through every pill they can prescribe lol and the one i am oon now is Isotretinoine. It is a very much last resort and basically drys your skin, i noticed i have flaky skinver my eyes and nose today and im a few weeks in. I should start to moisturise but unsure what to use as i hate things on my skin and react to alot of things. You got it right i need to have blood tests for it, also i have never heard of the mixture but i can imagine what its like!
