Well one thing to try are hookup apps, something like grindr. Do you have any gay friends that could lend you advice or could help you find someone to try things with? I would say a gay friend would be a good thing because many of us dealt with the whole coming out of the closet and so many gay people will respect your privacy...but no not all either.

What does going to an adult bookstore have anything to do with sex? Yes, sex in public places can get you into trouble, particularly indecent exposure... That can be kind of risky...and also part of the thrill too..
