This happens to me too.
It goes like this: you don't want to be stressed but then you don't know what to do without stress.
A simple answer would be, what do you like to do? Anyone can easily think of things they like doing in their free time. Perhaps you can pick certain activities that tackle your "need for stress" but not in the unhealthy way work tends to be. For instance, go run, go dance your butt off, get yourself in motion, get yourself tired in a good way!
