Don’t turn this onto yourself because it sounds like you have enough people around you trying to put you down without you having to do it yourself. When people are this vile to others it gives them small bursts of feeling superior/powerful or whatever to fill something missing in their own lives. Hate or pity them for their inadequacies but do not let their fascination with your life lead you to putting yourself down.

I really hope you can put some distance between yourself and these people at some point soon because you deserve better.
