I don't know about you, but certainly one of the main reasons I didn't start going to the gym earlier (I started in 2001) was because I thought I'd be in the company of really huge guys, who would just take the p!ss out of me for being so scrawny ...
To give you an idea of how small I was, when I started I was 21 years old and weighed 8 st 7 lbs, which is 119 lbs OR, for those of you that use them, 54 kilos ... I was VERY light.
... and so I decided to get a personal trainer ... just to show me the ropes.
In the fullness of time my best mate returned from university and we started to go together, and then he got me in at the local rugby club, and we went there for YEARS and years and years ... and now we go there AND to a local gym in town, so it's all cool, and has been (thusfar) really really enjoyable ... and I don't just mean the showers .
!?!?! Shadow !?!?!
