A pofadder is a snake much like a rattle snake but without the rattle.

An extremely dangerous snake, thick, short and slow moving it does have beautiful markings.

It cannot feel vibrations so does not move out of the way if you inadvertently approach it.

It has the fastest recorded strike speed.

I'ts venom fangs are so long it strikes sideways. Due to their length, the snake usually remains attached while it struggles to free itself, thereby injecting huge amounts of venom.

Without immediate medical attention a bite is usually fatal....

Charming..... Just plain bleeding charming....
