Aside from the laugher Matty's comment just produced, I got some good news not too long ago and it made me smile. Someone did something extremely wonderful, however trivial it may seem to most. mile:

What made me happy today... that I was invited to go to the beach one of these days by my former coworker, and inviting others.

And the fact that my internet is working again!

I was made happy today (technically yesterday since it's 2am here!) by my dad and I making plans to go out for lunch on Friday. And my mom's gonna make my hair into a braided mohawk sorta thing on Thursday! FUN!

I was selected by management to be in the new promotional video for my school (I'm an American ESL teacher in China). So my 45 minute class was filmed as well as our lunch break where I taught them about what they were eating and they had to "order" (the food was already set out buffet style) what they wanted to eat and my assistant would prepare their meal for them. I was told the reason why I was chosen was because of my looks and that I am very good with children. Being white in China gets you far, having blue eyes and being white gets you farther, being good with kids hits the ball out of the field!
