Went to a gay sauna today, and it was hilarious!

The closest I have been to a gay bath was the YMCA sauna/steam room. It was an 'interesting' experience. Nothing happened (sexually), but it was a learning experience.

Is there anything like this in the United States?

I'm curious because a fitness center I used to go had people scared to use the sauna (especially naked) for fear of gays and lesbians jumping their tender hetero bones. I thought they were totally silly, but maybe they'd been somewhere (or knew someone who had) I'd never even heard of before.

We have a heterosexual coed one in Montreal, the gay baths are pretty popular too, but it's not really my scene.
