#21
All the Star Wars movies (minus the cartoon stuff), Star Trek movies, AVP, Pirates of the Carribean (I'd consider that sci fi), Jumper, X-Men 1 2 & 3,

I like sci fi shows more tho:
Battlestar Galactica (new, not old)
Kyle XY
Lost
Being Human (USA version)
Heroes
The Event
And tons more...

Day the Earth Stood still - No, not that horrible remake that was basically CGI porn.

2001 - a Space Odyssey (1968) When I was a kid it was played at a local theater as a Saturday 'special' 50 cents a seat in the mid to late 1970's.

Star Wars - In the theater when it first came out - it was awesome. The later episodes were too much CGI porn for my tastes.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers, both older versions, the one with Kevin McCarthy (1950's) and the one with Donald Sutherland (1970's). Both gave me the willies.

The Andromeda Strain
The Omega Man (The one with Charleston Heston)
I am Legend was a decent remake, until about midway when the CGI porn started up.

THX 1138
Westworld
Soylent Green

Journey to the Center of the earth (1950s version)
War of the Worlds (1950's and the Tom Cruise One)
Damnation Alley (1970s?)
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
The Black Hole
Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Of course I loved the Origional Series, liked Voyager and The Next Generation, didn't much care for DS9. Enterprise was a flop in that it just didn't 'fit' the historical take it should have had with OST.)

Well gee I am a Scifi fan - I can think of many more movies I view as iconic.

I was just thinking of Logan's run a couple days ago.

If it wasn't my fear of CGI porn, I think that this would be a good one to remake.
