If I remember correctly you had been depressed. Had you learned nothing? That sometimes your brain goes against what you really want and what you consider right? Had everybody turned their back on you?

just to make it clear, mrk. Those who act to their desire give me goose bumps, and I doubt I would be able to defend them in any way. This is different.

I think op was brave to admit his problem. I really do hope he gets help and stays away from doing something to children. Admitting problem is the first step, getting help is second. I don't know how healthcare system works in ops country but there must be a way to get professional help.

U know what nick sod you and your advice because nobody listens to it, and no it is not a disease they can control it and choose. If you are comparing depression to what that sick sod does you have a screw loose.

Thats like saying your being gay is a disease. People tell us that's a choice. I wonder if your being a total ass about this is a disease. Hope not, cause there's no one to help you of it is. And maybe you should remember who you're talking to. I respect nick and the way you are talking is childish. Your entitled to your opinion, but your choice of words to express it doesn't really say much about you. Who wants to listen to a man who doesn't seem to have any sense of control. Your choice of words offends me more than the op's lifestyle. maybe you should be more adult about this, at least set an example. I'm sure we've all had enough of your uncivilized manner. I'd rather die trying to help this man than side with you and your profane commentary. and people wonder why we can't get along.

I am thinking of the members of gayspeak who are minors and who may be having contact with this gentleman, in no way am I ignorant I am thinking of child protection and I desperately think Andy needs to address this. The difference here is that the man has not acted on it and he put it on the table hoping for some help or insight (I think). IF he was able to actually get some help...don't you think that would be helpful to all of the children who will have not been molested? IF someone could figure out how to help a pedophile BEFORE they act on it...it would save destroying alot of lives in the future.

They say there is no cure....maybe they are right but maybe they are lazy and just haven't figure it all out yet. I admit I don't know enough about it...had the man said he already acted on it my skin would be crawling and I would be angry as I have seen way too much of the damage that can be done.
