As for his music, I find him very obnoxious to be as critically gentle as I can. To each their own though mile:

He's said a few things have made me want to slap him upside the head, but I consider his age and hope he outgrows his naive views with a Christian slant. I think the one that ticked me off the most was his saying something along the lines that he was opposed to abortion even in cases of rape because "everything happens for a reason" (my impression was he thought rapes were part of God's plans for us and though it seems terrible it's not because God ordains it...even if in the Bible God makes rape happen as punishment, which I'm sure the Bieb isn't aware of, just as the vast majority of Christians know very little beyond 1% of their Bible).

If he says something like that in 5 years I'm going to hate him. But right now I feel more dismissive of him because I see him as sheltered and young.
