Hello Michael Younglove and to GaySpeak... I hope you find what you are looking for here. In terms of loneliness, well there are chances that you'll find a few friends here, but they are all around the world so not necessarily in the same time zone as you. We do use the chat rooms, occasionally, but there seem to be special times. Once you're in there, you can just join the conversations. Again this can depend on the time zones.

I'm interested in your LDR... where is your boyfriend settled, then? Have you two met in real life yet?

I am in a LDR too and have been for almost 10 years; My partner and I have made a point of being together for a week every month or longer if we can.

We've just had a difficult couple of years, especially since losing my mum and his dad.
