I don't see a reason to get into construct shielding, you don't need those unless something actually attaches to you and, I'm close enough to remote. If on the off chance you did pick up anything really hard to eradicate, I can guide as well for remotes and, I think Gossamer could help, if not I know others that could.

I seem to be good for remote work too, if you get in a bind. I think the remoteness is kind of like when Luke Skywalker got training from Yoda--size matters not, only in this case, remoteness matters not. My only thing is I need a picture of the person I'm helping, so if you ever need my help, I'll be able to do so quicker if you have a photo you can quickly send. If I have that, I can key in, even as far as Australia (well, as far as reads--haven't done spirit connects). The "other" planes, whatever they are, don't seem limited by distance. I have no idea how it works, but I've learned that much.

Blue's keys to shielding are spot on. I get a little into constructs, but only because it amuses me. And it makes my daughter feel safer.

It's late, so I'm going to leave it at that. In the meantime, I suggest you practice some shielding. If Blue is game, maybe you can have him see if he can poke at it (not *that* way!). Or if you know someone else who is adept at this sort of thing, might not hurt to test the shields a little before going into a "hot zone."

Nothing paranormal ever happens to me.....and since it doesn't, I don't readily believe it exists. I try though to see things...explore creepy places and all. And I love graveyards! But..yeah...no....nothing ever.

I think that the ghosts you need to fear and protect yourself from are inside of living people for the most part...ghosts are just souls and I think alot of people make them scarier and more mysterious than they actually are. I help them all the time (just did a few days ago) and it is rather unspectacular and it actually starts to become at least slightly gratifying.

My favorite quickie protection is blue light...I wait until I get it a brilliant blue color and then I have a sphere of white light above and let it shimmer or "rain" down on me....but I rarely have had to use it with ghosts (a couple times...yes).

The point....if you are interested in ghosts or spirits I think it is best to understand them using empathy versus fear or suspense. I think you can learn alot more when those condition exist.

You're right the living "leaches" or "Emotional vampires" Are worse than any non living thing out there, if you're sensitive to them. No living I understand the possible reasons for their ways, living people can drain you - literally for no other reason that they can and they want to. I am, unfortunately for one of us, depending on how you look at, very easy to get a read on, very unique energy signature and, I'm also quick to defend myself, rather harshly. I'm fine if I'm working in tandem with someone and I know they will need to draw on my energy to do what they have to do but, if one of those living "leeches" hits me by surprise, I react quickly and harshly. There are more ways to stop them than just shields.

yes sir there are i unfortunately have too much energy than i know what to do with so when i feel one of them "leech" off of me its like a nuke went of around me. one of my friends, she is also wiccan, came to my house a couple of days after i got rid of a leech and she walked into my house and goes "what did you do in here? i could feel the energy a couple blocks down". unbeknownst to me that invited even more leeches to camp outside my house and just feed off the residual energy. blue you got any advice on how to mitigate that problem

Learn to ground and shield, and go read the other thread of yours, learn to do that too. Then a leech shows up, the fastest cure is ls to take from them hard and fast. yes you will have to ground to avoid buzzing, but the leech won't try that again on you or in your territory.

So I just got back from my little investigation at the cemetery. Nothing really big to report. A few creepy feelings like someone was watching me and there with me. I did get a possible name for this spirit or entity. A confederate soldier who is buried right in the middle of the cemetery that I felt really drawn to. Also got some contact information for a couple of people I can call about doing some further investigation at night maybe. I did get a feeling that something was trying I follow me home but I blocked it off and told it to go back where it came from. Hopefully I'll be able to get more info soon.

and other spiritual beings. one has to be careful
in who (Who) they summon and is best to get
advice about protection during such summonings.

If something is leaching off you, you'll feel tired, or just blah for no reason. More often it won't leech directly form you, but you'll start to notice odd things around the house, or feel it watching or following you when you know nothing should be there, repeatedly and persistently.

I have a leech that feeds on my energy maybe 1-2 times a week. I become exhausted and actually fall asleep. I know what he is doing but I feel sorry for him which is a huge mistake.

If you want to avoid leeches....learn to not feel sorry for someone and learn to recognize victims vs survivors. Victims should be avoided because they will drain you and they can't really help it for the most part because they aren't aware of it. Survivors are a breath of fresh air.

In general...to avoid leeches....strive for empathy versus sympathy.

Of course I am more concerned with the living ones. The dead leeches are not much of a problem IMO. They can only own the part of you that you dont'/won't/can't...and you can fix that easily anytime. I kinda grin and think about the line in the Wizard of Oz "You have no power here...go on before somebody drops a house on you"
