i was in that boat. My divorce was final about 2010 and another 6mo getting every thing sorted in my name. I can talk about it more if you want.

I was in the same boat for 4 years. I finalized my divorce in 2001 and spent several months sorting things out such as custody battles over the kids and such. Would be more than happy to chat about it.

Same boat here as well like some of the other replies, divorced now and dad of three.

I havent got that far thankfully but if i did i think id be truthful to myself and be honest and upfront and explain that things in life happen for a reason and you cannot hide no more... It will hurt but least she wont waste her life anymore for the sake of "kids"

you guys tread with care. you have emotional limits so try not over load. Take some time for your selves and distract you feelings.
hang out with friends with the emphasis of having a good time. Build supportive people around you.
rember
-if it is you starting the divorce/ separation your partner will not want to lift a finger. You will have to do all the work.
-everyone is different but inside you have a lot of doubt. Dont express it as hate to your self or others.
