Member's Testimonials On GaySpeak
#11
Im sat at my computer, contemplating my first week at GS, And what an interesting first week it has been. When I joined I didnt have very high expectations, Another forum I thaught, probably filled with inane and irrelevant ramblings, but no it has been very informative. My younger brother warned me not to join(He is fifteen and most of his friends are hooked on to b bo) it will consume your'e life he said. But it hasnt quite been like that. For me its been somthing to dip into, and somthing which I look forward to checking in with after an often hectic day. So thank you one and all for making my GS experience wothwhile and keep posting. Big shout out to Cardshark, FJP999, marhlander, Joseph and startwister you have been paricularly important to my experience.

Ok it's about time to write something here!
I came from another gay site, left because it was consistently bitchy and bitter with lack of respect for anyone quite racist too and poor moderation or maintenance from the owner. There were cliques you had to be in one.
Gayspeak is totally different! I was looking for a site that was friendly welcoming , lively, easygoing and find it. I joined like a year ago and more, login regularly and enjoy posting here. Gayspeak is funny , wise, silly, intelligent, and with top quality people! As a moderator i try to contribute in keeping Gayspeak as friendly, fair and peaceful as possible for anyone who joins. Want to see it grow into a big community, is a great place in the internet away from anything pretentious for gay lesbian bi curious people to have a laugh ,share experiences, talk about anything freely and with confidence.

You're certainly doing a good job of it. And so are Shadow and Andy. Thank you all...

Interesting how Shadow is involved in quite a few members here...

For me Shadow is involved in a round about way. My fav gay site (now second fav) went down for a number of days. Shadz was there but had left... I did a search and found GS and noticed that Shadz was here so thought to myself that it must be interesting and decided to stay... Never looked back.

GS has been a pretty amazing ride for me and I am being held hostage on announcing the best thing that has happened due to GS... hopefully one day...

Hi All,
I have a name its just a mystery one but you can call me zeon.. I have been on this site for a few days nnow and it seems a nice little place... Found this through a google search engine when doing a random search for gay forums and thought id give this one a try.. It seems a nice meeting point and people are non judgemental which is something ive experienced in other forums even when i was a moderator and whatnot but people only judged me because i wouldnt side with the bullies and whatnot but hey nowadays if ya judge a book by its cover its more interesting than you think

kindest regards

zeon x

My name's Arthur (no kidding!) and I've been here one minuscule day, give or take a couple of hours. All I can say is that I must be a great judge of a forum's character since this is the first I chose to register at (after an hour of frustrated Googling through the more irritating sites) when I was in need of someone to talk to, and it surpassed my expectations within half an hour. It's good to know there are some places for us which aren't all sex-sex-sexuality-sex, not that there's not a time and place for that but this place seems to understand that there are other things in life to be concerned with.

Great atmosphere, lovely people. I think I'm going to stay here if no one minds.

You're not and there aren't. We don't seem to have a very good record of keeping women here for long though. Make contact with lisanaria4eva if you are feeling lonely Xyxthumbs
