Not exactly, a boy is a young male, to be a boi is a state of mind.

Yup. Otherwise it could be said that slaves are born slaves and they are not. It is a state of mind, a choice.

Hello,
If we are talking about real fathers.... I dont sadly have anytime for my father as i was abandoned at 2 months old.... So with regards to the other sugar daddy well... I am not one for people to spend on to be honest as i am someone who likes to fund myself but spend on others if i got it

Kindest regards

Basically an older/younger relationship. Often with the older man being dominant I believe. A much softer and more "normal" version of Master/slave, Dom/sub perhaps?

I'm not an expert on this but from what I inferred from the context is that a Daddy takes care of someone and provides for his needs and protects him from the cruel world (which could include being a sugar daddy, but not necessarily so), and while that does give him some power (which can be abused or channeled into a complimentary D/S) I generally think of them as more likely to spoil than punish or humiliate. Here, a popular country song from a few years ago give a heterosexual version (with a twist ending):

I've thought of boi as a lesbian (or bi) who is very tomboyish. There are all kinds of bois/boidykes, and some of them can actually act like obnoxious teen boys (complete with the "bros before hos" code and just looking to have quick, meaningless sex before moving on, though that does make them popular with some women looking for exactly that).

Back when I was called a boi (as opposed to calling myself that) I was androgynous, had short hair (very convenient given my hobbies & budget, plus growing up in Texas made me appreciate short hair) which I usually kept dyed (black & blue was a favorite though I'd sometimes go with pink or purple instead of blue), wore a heavily decorated & personalized trench coat, studded belts & bracelets, neon jelly bracelets, cheap jewelry with pagan themes, skate shoes or boots (including a pair of Docs), and the rare times I wore makeup I went for outlandish styles (neon, blue lipstick, etc). Carrying or getting around on a skateboard a lot probably made me more of a boi to others as well. But I didn't think of myself as a boi (but not a girl either, I was just me).

Unlike studs and the like I was also very easygoing which translated into being (by default) submissive (another trait of being a boi, though not all bois are submissive), especially to older women that I hooked up with (and who generally spoiled me, though some were pillow queens otherwise, or saying they wanted to be topped and pleased but not so inclined to return the favor anymore than necessary, if at all). That said, if they got too controlling and/or micromanaging then I bailed (like one who thought skateboarding was too dangerous and locked mine away so while she was gone I jimmied the lock, got it, then got my stuff and left).

I did eventually live with a stud which presented an interesting dynamic, but she insisted I become more femme, and eventually I did. What's interesting to me about that is that I got hit on as much feminine as I did tomboyish/boish, but the TYPES of people (male & female) who hit on me were different.

Now as for gay bois, I'm uncertain what that means. I suppose similar to twinks (literally: "Teenage, White, Into No Kink") but more adventurous and aware (some say twinks are like the gay male version of the blonde bimbo, though just for the record when I refer to twinks I don't mean to imply that). I remember on The L Word where Shane (who could pass for a boi) was mistaken by gay men for being a twink once (and thus hilariously came onto her).

Personally?;
I've always found the word "daddy" used in a sexual relationship capacity to be creepy.
Same with boy and boi...

That's just me though...
