I would assume it helps tremendously if the bottom relaxes, regardless of what chemicals are being used. But I speak from inexperience.

It really depends on how emotionally involved you are with your partner. If it's just a sex experience, it may not be as fulfilling as if it's done with your whole heart and mind, not just your sex organs... After all the brain is the biggest sex organ we've got, isn't it?

The orgasm is more intense, generally but not quite situated in the same place in your body. You may feel that this makes you lose hold a bit more and longer.

It also depends on how much stimulation you are getting, how long and what the quality of it is. If the sex is too rough, you may feel more discomfort than fun... but mentally, having someone inside you who is giving you his love and his body is a very erotic idea and also a very romantic one. The effect of your enjoyment and orgasm will also be affected by the position-s you adopt.

Some are more intimate than others, depending on how close both bodies are. Somehow taking it from behind lying sideways allows a lot more cuddling and kissing, for instance, than doggy style. I'd also like to suggest that it's also very much dependent on how horny you are... yes it is a mental process, mostly. You'd be surprised at how natural it feels.

Would agree with all of Bowyn's suggestions and ideas, especially these two statements.

And to segue from that*, largely endowed gentlemen will probably not insert their whole penis, and / or, since it is basically a sack filled with blood, decrease the pressure of their erection more or less consciously to fit more comfortably, which is why the real thing will always be more comfortable than any toy.

I also think (from observation but not from practice, so for what it's worth) that the bigger the penis, the more difficult it is to maintain the erection really rock hard. Look at largely endowed porn stars; their penises are never as hard and erect as smaller or more regular sized ones. For one thing it would take the brain more production of that hormone that keeps us stiff. Not forgetting that the anus can be really tight and this tightness will stop the flow of blood to the inserted penis anyway, making it lose stiffness. So it all depends on how horny and how stiff and how tight or relaxed.
