Bald gay guys in your 20's - Please tell me my dating life isn't over
#21
I'd say the MAJORITY of people "judge" in their hearts regarding balding. I'd also say that "getting over it" is not as much the key as learning to accept it. You can be bald and gorgeous but a real prick. You can be bald and not too attractive and be the best mate anyone could ever dream of having. What you do and how you do it is WAY more important and defines a man's worth far more than what the gene cards deal you. If you can't seem to make progress on accepting being bald in a healthy way then you should definitely get help with it because life's too short to be unnecessarily unhappy and uncomfortable! If you learn to love you well then others will be able to love you well too! I know guys in your situation who have made being bald/hairless a "lifestyle" and a specific part of their self nurture and appeal. Best wishes with your finding help to support growing a healthy acceptance and putting the matter "behind" you.

I snagged the best guy in my life after I got a huge bald patch on my scalp. Probably because he sees that tiny little bit of self-conscious insecurity as vulnerability in my otherwise strong and sunny exterior.

It doesn't really matter, but sometimes I do have bad days when I irritate the heck outta my bf about my hair. It doesn't help that he has spectacular hair either. But I love him anyways. You see, these things are far too trivial to fuss about. Smile

When I first started college, the first openly gay person I ever met was a balding 20 year old male. I agree with Pix; it is an attitude thing. He was very confident in himself and had no problem talking to guys and getting boyfriends. His only mention of his hair was when we got company hats and he was concerned it would rip out the rest of his hair. If somebody doesn't want to be with you because of your hair, you don't want to be with that person.

Hey, nothing wrong with being bald. I have thick hair but I have been shaving my head for years, I think it looks hotter than guys with hair usually. I have always either like long hair or no hair, and for me no hair looks alot better.

not the same i know but mate who is 20 and bald exept sides he could grow if he wanted has just had is first child with his girlfriend, im sure he had the same thoughts that he wouldnt get a girl etc with his hair goin at a young age but he did ,

do you grow your sideburns ? or the thin beard line around the chin which is popular with people with shaved or bald heads ? it will help take emphasis away from your hair line to your allround face area if your lacking confidence

Firstly, bald guys are sexy. It's a sign of high genetic viability if I remeber right. Secondly, one of the best relationships I have ever been in was with a 22 year old who was bald, he was amazingly attractive, being bald accentuated his natural charm Smile
