I've dealt with depression and anxiety all my life
And one thing I do, as weird as it's gonna sound...
I cry
A lot
The key to a healthy cry is to release all the pent up feelings of despair, not dwell
Just find a nice time like just before you go to bed, sit there, and just let it all out.
I usually do this just before I go for a jog on my treadmill (exercise helps a lot too)
It releases all the bad feelings and leaves room for the good
Another thing is just talking, and though you don't really know me, I'm happy to listen if you need someone to hear your rants.
I hope things get better and you find the light at the end of the tunnel
And I really hope the light isn't a train because that would suck
*lots of hugs*
