I say go. I'm not a big bar fan, but night clubs are great. It's good that you have someone to go with too. It makes it more fun. Do you live close enough? Are you all taking the same car? If you live close enough, you could drive and meet your friends there and bail out if it's too unbearable.

Gay bars are pretty much the same as straight bars. Unless your friends are bringing you to a dive with a back room scene, you probably won't be shocked.

Ok so the club scene was...okay. Not something I'd want to do every weekend. But there was some nice eye candy!

Yeah it was fun, but the thing is every guy I looked at, every couple that I saw kissing and dancing with each other, reminded me of him. I just kept thinking that's what I'd love to be doing with him right now.
