I LOVE movies and there is no way that I can limit my choice to just one. Here then are twenty movies that are definitely in my top 100 list, in no particular order.

1. V for Vendetta
2. American Beauty
3. Run Lola Run
4. Atonement
5. Casablanca
6. The Shawshank Redemption
7. Schindler's List
8. Star Wars
9. City of God
10. American History X
11. Amelie
12. Cinema Paradiso
13. Some Like It Hot
14. Life of Pi
15. Pan's Labyrinth
16. No Country for Old Men
17. Natural Born Killers
18. Donnie Darko
19. Departures
20. La Femme Nikita

At any given time, there could be fifty other movies that I would put it my top twenty list. It all just depends on my mood. Smile

for romantic movies, my absolute fave is Nuovo Cinema Paradiso. Awesome movie, I'd recommend to anybody. Elsa & Fred is also really good, and another one that I like is El Secreto de Sus Ojos.
As for movies that motivate reflection, "Die Welle" and "Die Fetten jahre sind vorbei" (I don't know the titles in english) are really cool, so is Fight Club.
